What do you need to qualify for Microsoft’s Bridge to Cloud Promotion?
You must be a Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central, Dynamics NAV, Dynamics GP, or Dynamics SL on-premises customer on the Dynamics Price List (DPL). You must also have an active Enhancement Plan subscription and apply for the offer prior to your renewal date.
So, what’s the actual offer?
By purchasing licenses for Dynamics 365 Business Central from a Microsoft Cloud Solution Provider (CSP) with an annualized total that is greater than or equal to your Enhancement Plan renewal amount, you’ll receive concurrent access to your current on-premises solution and Dynamics 365 Business Central in the cloud. Instead of paying for your annual Enhancement Plan renewal as a lump sum, you pay for Dynamics 365 Business Central cloud licenses on a monthly basis.

Instead of paying for your Enhancement Plan in one lump sum, you make payments monthly. In addition, you get a great price on Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central licenses (60% off). If you have a high ratio of concurrent users, Microsoft will match up to 1-4 concurrent to named users at zero cost.
The Bridge to the Cloud promotion allows for dual-use and downgrade rights to the current Dynamic 365 Business Central, Dynamics GP, Dynamics NAV, and Dynamics SL on-premises versions. In other words, you can continue to use your current on-premises application while you transition to your Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central Cloud solution. You continue to get full Enhancement Plan benefits for your current on-premises application and you will have licenses for Dynamics 365 Business Central in the cloud when you are ready to migrate.
What’s on your side of the deal?
You must have a current Enhancement Plan for your on-premises solution. You need to the license Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central cloud users at the same total annual price or greater as your annual Enhancement Plan. The Bridge to the Cloud promotion requires a one-year subscription and it comes with the option to renew for an additional three years. That means you’ll have concurrent use of your on-premises Dynamics software and Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central for a total of four years to evaluate and transition to your cloud solution.
