Infor comes in many colors. There’s Infor LN, Infor Visual, Infor Baan, Infor MK and Infor Manman. Although many companies remain on various versions of Infor – all of which Strategic Systems Group (SSG) supports – there is a continuing trend of migration to more modern, high-functionality software. SSG has performed many of these data migration and implementation projects, which have included migrating from Infor to Microsoft Dynamics GP and the newest Dynamics product of them all, Microsoft Dynamics 365.
If you have strong preference for an on-premises solution, then you should consider a move up to Microsoft Dynamics GP (formerly Great Plains). Since Microsoft purchased Great Plains in 2001, the solution has been steadily enhanced to become a fully operational ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) system built on the strong and highly popular accounting foundation of Great Plains.
If, however, you are ready to move the cloud, Microsoft Dynamics 365 for Finance and Operations is the best-in-class option you should seriously consider. Dynamics 365 was built from the ground up as a fully integrated cloud ERP and CRM (Customer Relationship) solution. On the whole, ERP cloud systems are more flexible, more scalable, and generally more cost-effective than on-premises ERP.
SSG’s manufacturing and wholesale distribution clients are increasingly migrating to one of these two Microsoft Dynamics platforms for ease of use and greater functionality.
SSG is a certified Microsoft Cloud Solution Provider. This means that we can work with you to move your Microsoft Office Suite to the cloud with Microsoft Office 365, whether you’re running Microsoft Dynamics GP or Microsoft Dynamics 365. Hybrid solutions like on-premises Microsoft Dynamics GP and cloud-based Office 365 are extremely popular. They offer you the best of both worlds. And of course, Microsoft Dynamics 365 integrated with Office 365 is the gold standard!
To see how SSG’s solutions have helped our clients increase efficiency and profitability, read our manufacturing case studies, which include stories about a Global Power Plant Valve Manufacturer, a Marine Electronics Manufacturer, and a DOD Contract Manufacturer, among others.
But most of all, if you’re currently running an Infor solution, we want to chat with you about moving up to Microsoft Dynamics.
